Hezbollah Denounces Attacks by Israel and the U.S as a Part of a War

The secretary general of the Lebanese Islamic resistance movement, Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, denounced on Thursday that Israel is carrying out a deception and fraud operation to blame without evidence the Shiite militia for the murder of ten people in Majdal Shams, in the Golan Heights, Syrian territory illegally occupied by the Zionists, and claimed that it is part of the war between Israel and the US. in the region.

Nasrallah delivered a speech at the funeral ceremony of martyr commander Fouad Shokr, killed by Israel on Tuesday after the occupation bombed a residential building in Haret Hreik, a densely populated suburb south of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, an attack that killed seven civilians and left more than 70 wounded.
He recalled that the explosion in the Druze town of Majdal Shams was caused by an Israeli interceptor missile (from the Iron Dome anti-aircraft system) and claimed that the occupation does not want to admit him to exonerate its army of such crime and try to escalate the conflict in the Middle East.
He explained that Tel Aviv seeks to antagonize the Druze community with Hezbollah and promote a sectarian struggle that weakens the Axis of Resistance against the crimes of Zionism.
He stressed that Hizbollah, which always attacks military sites of the occupation, had no connection with the attack on Majdal Shams. In that sense, he rejected the Israeli narrative of showing the attack on Beirut as a reaction of self-defense and not a vile murder.

He said: «We are facing a great battle in which the issue has transcended the support fronts and entered into a new phase», whose «intensification will depend on the responses of the enemy», he added. He stressed that Hezbollah will avenge its killed commander.
Nasrallah expressed condolences to the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, and its al-Qassam military brigades after the assassination of their leader Ismail Haniyeh by the Israeli occupation.
He considered that the assassination, which took place early on Tuesday morning while Haniyeh was in the Iranian capital, Tehran, during the swearing-in of President Masoud Pezeshkian, was a strategic mistake of Zionism. «Do you think that they will kill Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and that Iran will keep silent?» he asked.
In his view, Iran regards the murder of Haniyeh as an attack on its security and national sovereignty and, most importantly, as an assault on honour.
In previous speeches, Nasrallah has emphasized that Israel is losing ground to the Axis of Resistance and perpetrating aggression after aggression to implicate the US, its ally and accomplice, in a war in the Middle East.
