“Day in and day out, the Israeli authorities issue these orders forcing people to flee, creating chaos and fear,” Lazzarini wrote on his X social network account.
The IDF ordered the evacuation of parts of the Bureij and Nuseirat refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip on Sunday after detecting rocket launches from the area.
The authorities directed civilians to the small coastal area of Mawasi, in the south-west of the enclave, where hundreds of thousands of displaced people are living in tents, without running water or electricity.
In his message this Sunday, Lazzarini stressed that many times, the evacuees have only a few hours to collect their things and start over elsewhere, Travelling on foot or in donkey carts (if they can afford it).
“Almost everyone in Gaza has been affected by these orders. Many have been forced to flee once a month on average since the war began nine months ago”, he added.
Meanwhile, the relentless attacks continue to deteriorate the humanitarian situation in the enclave, especially that of the most vulnerable groups such as the chronically ill or women.
