On Monday, the Israeli army reported the arrest of 9 Hebrew soldiers after being accused of abusing a Palestinian prisoner at a torture facility on the Sde Teiman base, in Israel.

The prisoner, was found by the Zionist authorities in a critical state of health, “almost on the verge of death”The prisoner was taken to a hospital for treatment and surgery.
In the face of this, the Israel Civil Rights Association urged the High Court to order the closure of Sde Teiman following reports that have appeared in recent months about ill-treatment in the center. Reports reported widespread abuse of prisoners, including extreme use of physical restraints, beatings, neglect of medical problems, arbitrary punishments and others.
For their part, lawmakers and politicians of the far right Zionist, broke into the military base to denounce the arrests of soldiers, because allegedly “is a disrespect for the IDF soldiers”.
Similarly, the Israeli Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, also condemned the arrest of Israeli soldiers suspected of mistreating prisoners in Sde Teiman.
However, the IDF Chief of Staff, Herzi Halevi, denounced the infiltration into the Sde Teiman detention centre, while stating that “it is extremely serious and against the law”.
