“Humanity is more important than the economy,” he said during an event on Telecommunications and New Technologies held at the Caracas’ Poliedro.

Maduro emphasized that humanity has demonstrated its potential goes beyond the United States’ economy, reaffirming that Venezuela is part of this new global order in which it has belonged and will continue to belong.

In this regard, the Bolivarian leader added that, over the past 40 years, a world beyond U.S. hegemony and unipolar domination has been taking shape. “The world we are living in is a multicentric one in the economic sphere,” he stressed.

Maduro highlighted that, thanks to the efforts of the entire Bolivarian nation, Venezuela has succeeded in consolidating its own economic model, which has “driving sectors” that will enable it to come through successfully in this new stage of the global economy.

Amid the global uncertainty caused by the trade and economic war, the Venezuelan president remains firm in his path, trusting in his own development model, aiming to continue building and moving forward with confidence toward the future.
