A woman from Chicago has been reported missing in the Bahamas, while she was participating in a yoga trip
Taylor Casey, 41, was last seen on Wednesday, June 19, after attending a yoga session. The family and authorities are trying to locate her whereabouts.

Taylor Casey, a 41-year-old woman from Chicago, disappeared while participating in a yoga course in the Bahamas. The last time she was seen she was on Paradise Island, a tourist area off the coast of New Providence, last Wednesday, June 19.
The Royal Bahamas Police Force (RFDB) is carrying out the investigation, but no details have been provided about the circumstances of her disappearance nor has it been confirmed whether any criminal acts are suspected. The family, for its part, expressed its anguish in various American media.
Casey’s family also expressed their concern through a Facebook page created to help locate her. Her mother, Colette Seymore, appealed to the public to come forward with any information that could help find her daughter.
“We are deeply concerned for Taylor’s safety and well-being. “We want Taylor home,” Seymore said in the statement. The lack of information about Casey’s disappearance only increases tension between her loved ones.
Both relatives of the missing woman and Bahamian authorities have urged anyone with relevant information to get in touch immediately to expedite the investigation. At the moment, nothing is known about her possible whereabouts.
Casey, who has been immersed in the practice of yoga for approximately 15 years, attended her course with the aim of delving deeper into this discipline. Her family noted that she was very excited about the experience and wanted to share what she learned upon her return.
“Taylor would never disappear like this,” her mother said. The family described her physically as approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. “She usually wears her hair covered by a durag,” she stressed.
