The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, released a video on Wednesday featuring Omri Miran, an Israeli soldier held captive in Gaza. In the video, titled “Time is Running Out,” Miran describes the dire conditions of his captivity and calls on Israeli settlers to protest outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence to demand a prisoner exchange agreement.

Visibly distressed, Miran warns, “We are under constant bombardment; military pressure will only lead to our death, not freedom.” He also appeals to his daughters to join the protests so he can see them on television and urges Israeli citizens to seek the intervention of former U.S. President Donald Trump, whom he describes as “the only one who can pressure Netanyahu.”

The video emerges amidst growing dissatisfaction in Israel over the government’s handling of prisoners in Gaza. Families of the captives accuse Netanyahu of prioritizing political interests over the lives of their loved ones. Protests demanding a ceasefire and an immediate prisoner exchange have intensified, reflecting the mounting public frustration.
