The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA-TCP) is advancing its Strategic Agenda, designed to strengthen the union in key areas that ensure the happiness and well-being of its people.

During the recent summit held in Caracas, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of ALBA-TCP, the heads of government of the member countries made concrete decisions that seek to consolidate the alliance under the principles of cooperation, solidarity, and complementarity.

The Head of State of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced that on Monday, February 3, 2025, an Extraordinary and Special Summit of the Governments and Peoples of the ALBA-TCP countries will be held in tribute to the birthday of Antonio José de Sucre.

This meeting aims to assess progress in the economic, social, and political areas that were agreed upon at the summit.

In addition, crucial issues such as respect for human rights and the dignity of migrant populations, as well as the defense of sovereignty and peace throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, will be addressed.

With these actions, ALBA-TCP reaffirms its commitment to integral development and regional integration, always seeking collective welfare and social justice for all its citizens.
