ALBA-TCP highlights the coincidence of the elections with the 70th anniversary of Hugo Chavez’s birth.
The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) In a statement, he congratulates the people and government of Venezuela on the victory of President Nicolás Maduro in the presidential elections of Sunday, July 28, 2024.

The text highlights that the candidate of the “Bolivarian Revolution obtained 51.20% of the votes”, which the organization describes as an «unobjectionable» victory and a «demonstration of the strength of Venezuelan participatory and leading democracy».
ALBA-TCP highlights the coincidence of the elections with the 70th anniversary of Hugo Chavez’s birth, noting that Venezuela «demonstrated his loyalty and commitment to the Bolivarian Socialism of the 21st century».
The Continental Alliance highlights the challenges faced by the government of Nicolás Maduro, mentioning «930 extortive and illegal coercive measures» imposed on the country, and highlights the president re-elected as a «statesman» who has demonstrated «his ability to lead the country in the face of the fiercest onslaught of transnational powers».
The statement states that the election result «confirms the anti-imperialist and anti-colonialist will of the Venezuelan people» and expresses confidence that Nicolás Maduro «will continue to make invaluable contributions to the process of uniting Our America».
