ALBA-TCP Condemns the Violence in Middle East Against Lebanon

The ALBA bloc noted that “the excessive violence unleashed by Israel’s ruling elite on surrounding countries is unacceptable and inhumane”.
The nations that make up the bloc of countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) condemned this Tuesday, through a statement, the violent context in the Middle East region between Israel and Lebanon.

“The member states of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) express their absolute condemnation of the dangerous escalation of violence that is taking place in the Middle East, specifically in the face of attacks by the Israeli army on the territory of the Lebanese Republic”, the statement stresses.
The ALBA-TCP bloc also pointed out that “the excessive violence unleashed by Israel’s ruling elite on the countries around them is unacceptable and inhuman”.
“Almost a year after the beginning of this new phase of systematic genocide against the Palestinian population, the Israeli government is not satisfied with having committed gross and systematic violations of the human rights of the Palestinian people and international law by attacking the civilian population in Gaza without mercy”, adds the text.
Similarly, ALBA-TCP stresses that human rights violations (DD.HH.) alone are not enough for Israel, “but also attacks other sovereign States in a constant criminal reprisal, which ends in the death of innocent civilians and massive destruction”.
“ALBA-TCP has been warning of the seriousness of the regionalization of the conflict and the need to end Israel’s impunity. Today there are more than 41,431 fatalities in Palestine, over 100 deaths and 400 injuries in Lebanon, as well as material damage in Gaza, the West Bank, Syria and other countries in the region”, said the regional organization.
Finally, the text, shared on the official Facebook profile of the organization, specifies that “the member countries of the Bolivarian Alliance reject the inconceivable impunity with which the State of Israel acts and reaffirm the need to take measures within the framework of international law to stop the violence of the Israeli elite, while reaffirming their commitment to peace, tolerance and sacred respect for life”.
