The Secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance of Our America-Treaty on Trade of Peoples (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, has issued a strong statement criticizing the position of the Organization of American States (OAS) under the leadership of Luis Almagro.

Arreaza points out that the OAS, which he refers to as the “Yankee Colony Ministry’s General Sicario,” shows a clear “anti-Venezuelan obsession” while ignoring the serious crimes committed by the security forces of Daniel Noboa’s government in Ecuador, including the kidnapping and murder of teenagers.

In his statement, Arreaza emphasizes that the OAS not only refrains from pronouncing on these atrocious acts in Ecuador but also hastens to support actions he considers conspiratorial against Venezuela.

According to Arreaza, this attitude reveals the true nature of the agency, which serves imperial interests at the expense of human rights in the region.

The ALBA-TCP secretary concludes his message by stating that Almagro is willing to do anything to secure his remuneration in Washington, describing him as an “imperialist agent and mercenary.”

He also warns that Almagro will continue to be remembered for his complicity in acts that stain history, from which he cannot escape.
