ALBA-TCP Stand in Solidarity With Honduras After Coup Attempt Denounces

The Member States of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) expressed it solidarity with the Honduran government after coup attempt dennounces.

“ALBA-TCP stand in solidarity with the people and government of the Republic of Honduras, in view of the interference of the government of the United States in its internal affairs and denounce the coup attempt made by President Xiomara Castro,” reads a statement released by the international organisation.
The entity highlight that “once again, expresses its categorical rejection of these acts that flagrantly violate the rules of International Law.”
ALBA-TCP stated that Honduras is a sister nation “with excellent and comprehensive relations with the countries of the Alliance, that should be respected by any other State.”
The organisation expressed its full support Honduran people as well and said the people very well knows the consequences of coups d’état, as well as to the government of President Xiomara Castro and the actions it deems appropriate for the defense of its sovereignty.
ALBA-TCP also called on the international community “community to condemn these blatant interventionist attempts by any country that aim at chaos in sister nations and themdestabilization of the entire region.”
