Rio de Janeiro, November 12, 2024 – The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) has issued a statement expressing its strong support for the resolution adopted during the Extraordinary Joint Arab-Islamic Summit held on November 11 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This meeting, convened by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the League of Arab States, aimed to address the increasing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
In its statement, ALBA-TCP praised the initiative of these organizations, highlighting their crucial role in defending the Palestinian cause as a matter that concerns all Muslim peoples.
The alliance condemned the “atrocities committed by the occupying power Israel,” emphasizing that these actions constitute a clear violation of international law and a continued process of genocide aimed at denying the Palestinian people their right to exist.
The resulting document from the summit outlines the aggressions and crimes against humanity perpetrated by Israel, as well as the necessary actions to put an end to war and violence, with the goal of ensuring not only the interests of the Muslim world but also global peace and stability.
