Another U.S. Citizen Implicated in the Terrorist Plan Against Venezuela is Captured: Informs Vice-President Cabello

The Vice President of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, reported in the National Assembly the capture of another US citizen in Caracas, linked to terrorist activities against Venezuela and detailed that the individual was arrested while taking photographs of electrical, oil and military installations.
“At this moment another US citizen was captured in Caracas, who is coming with the terrorist plan against Venezuela. We were following him, he was taking pictures of electrical installations, oil, military, but unfortunately for him, Venezuela has a very powerful antibody, which is the conscience of our people”, he said.
In this way, he revealed that the detainees are related to groups of “ladies-in-waiting” linked to the gangs of the Tren de Aragua and the Tren del Llano. According to the information obtained, these individuals confessed that the Spanish National Intelligence Center (CNI) hires mercenaries to operate in Venezuela, with specific tasks such as the seizure of Simón Bolívar Airport in Maiquetía.
The Vice President of the Sector stressed that the three detainees, whom some try to present as “tourists”, are under protection in a safe place, where he emphasized the commitment of the Venezuelan government to respect human rights, to ensure that detainees are being treated in accordance with international standards.
Thus, Diosdado Cabello highlighted the arrest of the Czech citizen Jan Darmovzal, an active member of the Czech Army and belonging to the parachute division. “The capture took place in the framework of investigations into a terrorist plan aimed at attacking the Miraflores Palace on 29 July”.
He also presented evidence of conversations between Wilber Joseph Castañeda and a Venezuelan known as “El Flaco”, in which the operation to take Miraflores is detailed. “I have reported several times that these mercenaries would go to the capture of Miraflores. Because this was always the plan, it was not electoral”.
The minister also revealed that the plan included the hiring of detainees, to whom some of the 400 rifles confiscated will be handed over. “To date, 14 prisoners have been contacted, including Nudre Javier Chourio Nava, Renny Regino González Gracia and Manuel Alejandro Bohórquez Colina”.
“Wilbert Joseph Castañeda Gómez, captured in the state of Aragua, was identified as a US agent specializing in explosives, trained for missions in Latin America. The White House recently confirmed that Castañeda Gómez is an active member of the Navy Seals and that he is being detained in Venezuela,” Cabello said.
He also mentioned that all the mercenaries involved in the terrorist plot passed through a hotel in Bogotá called Las Toninas. “The aim of this plan was political and it was supported by Ivan Simonovis”.
He stressed that this plot sought to turn Venezuela into a failed state, without institutions and linked to crime. He said that the National Government is working to ensure peace in the country and that this is not only a problem of the government, but of the whole people.
During his speech, Cabello highlighted the work of the security forces in identifying and neutralizing those responsible. He assured that the sectors linked to imperialism will continue with attempts to destabilize Venezuela, “There is a lot of indignation to feel that against Venezuela the sectors linked to imperialism will continue to insist, but as they have been defeated, we will defeat them again, it is not a slogan: we will defeat them again”.
He therefore stated that, within the framework of the Constitution and the law, all necessary measures will be taken to ensure peace in the country. All those involved will face justice and impunity will end.
Finally, the minister said: “All involved will face justice. Impunity is over. We will leave the new generations a country in peace”.
