Antifascist Tribune Vindicates Venezuela’s Support for the State of Palestine

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, reaffirmed the solidarity of the homeland with the Palestinian cause during the Antifascist and Anti-zionist Tribune held at the Waraira Repano in Caracas.

“When we raise the Palestinian flag we are raising the flag of the free peoples of the world, of the people who do not give up and of the people who fight,” he said in condemning the attacks by the Zionist state of Israel against Iran and Lebanon.

He also stressed that to see the flags of Venezuela and Palestine flying is “to see one’s soul lifted”.

At the same time, he conveyed to the Iranian ambassador, Hojat Soltani, and diplomatic representatives of Lebanon that the Venezuelan people will always be “firm in defense of the freedom and sovereignty of the Palestinian people”.

“As Commander Hugo Chavez always taught us, our solidarity has no folds, our solidarity is absolute with the peoples who love freedom and our condemnation is total against the imperialists, the genocides, against the United States and the Zionist state of Israel”, expressed.

For his part, the ambassador of the State of Palestine in Venezuela, Fadi Alzaben, said that Israel intends to carry out an ethnic cleansing.

“Enough of genocide! Enough of ethnic cleansing in Palestine! Children are killed Enough! The infamous Israeli army killed more than 16,000 children,” Alzaben said.

The diplomat said that anyone who keeps silent about the genocide committed by Israel in Gaza is an accomplice of the massacre and pointed out that more than 1,000 families were erased from the Civil Registry.

At the same time, he thanked the Bolivarian Government for its solidarity and support of the Palestinian cause.
