At Least 9 Killed By US Attacks On Yemen’s Capital Sana’a

At least nine people were killed this Saturday and nine others were injured in US attacks on Sana’a, the capital of Yemen, the political organization and resistance army Houthi said.

“As a preliminary assessment, there are 18 victims, including nine killed and nine wounded civilians as a result of a series of US aggression air raids directed against the capital, Sana’a,” said the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Anees al Asbahi, in your official X account.

According to the Yemeni television Al Masira, a spokesman for the Houthis, this attack took place against a residential neighborhood in the district of Al Shuub and residents told the Spanish news agency EFE that a house was the target of this action.

US President Donald Trump announced a “decisive and forceful” action against the Houthis, backed by Iran, for their attacks on shipping, and warned Tehran that its support of that group must cease immediately.

Trump indicated that he has ordered the US Armed Forces. that military maneuver in considering that the Houthis “have waged a relentless campaign of piracy, violence and terrorism against US and foreign ships, aircraft and drones”.

This attack comes a few days after the Houthi assured that they would resume their attacks in the Red and Arabian Sea against Israeli ships or linked to countries considered by the Houthi forces as accomplices of the genocide in Gaza.
