At least six people, including a girl, died and around thirty were injured in two waves of Israeli attacks carried out this Saturday against dozens of towns in southern Lebanon in response to the launch of projectiles towards Israel from a southern Lebanese village.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the deadliest attack took place in the city of Tulin, “where five people died, including a girl, and eleven were injured, including two children.”
The Public Health Emergency Operations Center, which depends on the ministry, indicated on the other hand that “an incursion by the Israeli enemy into the city of Tyre resulted in an updated toll of one person dead and seven others injured.”
In other attacks in Al Qalila and Hosh al Sayyid Ali, at least nine people were injured “according to a preliminary assessment,” he added.
The Lebanese national news agency, NNA, reported Israeli airstrikes against dozens of southern villages, without revealing for the moment whether they caused casualties.
The Israeli Army announced, for its part, on Saturday night that it has launched a second wave of bombing against positions of the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah, after a first in which it said it had attacked “dozens” of rocket launchers of the pro-Iranian formation.
The attacks respond to three rocket launches from Lebanese territory, which Hezbollah has disclaimed responsibility for, which the Israeli Army intercepted early in the morning and which set off anti-aircraft alarms in the Israeli town of Metula, about 150 meters from the border with Lebanon.
