According to Rodriguez in a press conference, the government program of María Corina Machado and Edmundo González, “Venezuela, land of grace” was presented in English in the United States before being presented in Venezuela.

He stated that it is aimed at “the destruction of Venezuela and to generate pain, layoffs, robbery and death”. The neoliberal program provides for the privatization of companies and public assets in several sectors, including oil and gas, as well as the repeal of the hydrocarbons law.

He also denounced the pretensions of handing over large and profitable companies such as Banco de Venezuela to large foreign consortiums at very low prices.

“In their program they talk about the flexibilization of all labor norms, they would increase working hours, work on Saturdays and Sundays if the employer wants, they make life easier for the employer. There would also be a plan to fire public employees in the first weeks. Just as Milei did in Argentina and closed different public entities” said the also president of the National Assembly.

The candidate representing the violent extreme right dared to present his government program in English: “Venezuela Land Of Grace”. It is a program to destroy the country, to generate unrest, pain, layoffs, privatizations, deaths and to hand over the wealth of Venezuela.

Rodriguez rejected this government plan presented by the opposition, which he described as “deeply sadistic, because it is aimed at stealing from those who have the least”. He added that such a plan would mean putting us under the yoke of the gringos. “They want to place the country once again as lackeys of the gringos. To subjugate our FANB and eliminate the Bolivarian National Militia”.

Likewise, Jorge Rodríguez denounced the installation of an opposition center in Miami to chant fraud on the presidential elections of July 28. He denounced the information blackout that has been unleashed on the campaign of the candidate of the homeland, Nicolás Maduro.

He added that the Venezuelan extreme right wing tries to silence reality, in a sort of electoral April 11, setting up a meta-reality to serve its purposes other than electoral ones. On April 11, 2002, the extreme right wing carried out a coup d’état against then President Hugo Chávez, but failed in its intention to end his government when he was reinstated two days later after the people’s defense of their Commander-in-Chief.

“It is curious that they are already talking about fraud when there are six days left for the presidential elections, it is curious that one of the 10 candidates is already mounting a whole hoax to say that there was fraud in the elections because they and we know what the real polls are,” he said.

Jorge Rodriguez said “we are going to respect the CNE (National Electoral Council) bulletin, not the one read by Magalli Meda’s sister-in-law from Miami, we are not going to claim fraud, and we are going to the streets to defend our victory”.

In this regard, he highlighted the tour carried out by President Maduro to every inch of our Republic. More than 500 thousand people mobilized in Apure and Barinas in demonstration of love for peace and life of the Republic, he said, pointing out that “the truth will explode in their faces”.
