Campaign “Venezuela Nuestra” Command Rejects Any Form of Violence

The president of the Venezuela Nuestra campaign, Jorge Rodríguez, rejected this Sunday any form of violence by sectors of the country’s politics linked to the extreme right.

During a press conference, Rodriguez denounced that Venezuela is the only country where before an election event takes place, opposition candidates sing fraud before time.
“That had never been seen because the plan was different, it was to look for the election event to find a way to unleash violence in some points and foci of the country, That is why they did not sign the agreement before the CNE to recognize the results”, he stressed.
He also said that these elections and their results signify the defeat of extremist factors in Venezuela and of the aggressors who attack the country from the aggressors.
“There comes a new stage, a construction stage, where we Venezuelans meet and agree, and the main mission is to accelerate the recovery of the welfare state of Venezuelans”, he said
Rodríguez pointed out that at 18H00 (local time), the voting event culminated in the vast majority of the country’s polling stations and thanked the Venezuelans by force, Courage and determination demonstrated in the presidential election.
“Despite the blockades, sanctions, it was a people worthy to say that they vote for peace, the future and economic recovery,” said Rodríguez.
Likewise, he assured that today was a victory for all, and urged the Venezuelans to wait for the results of the National Electoral Council (CNE).
“We are respectful of the laws of our country and the Constitution,” he said, thanking the CNE and its five rectors, who demonstrated that the electoral system works in the name of democracy.
“Look at the electoral events on the continent and the planet, and you will see that Venezuela is an example of elections being held in complete peace, even though there are always violent ones, Minorities, those who persist in hatred”, he said.
He also praised the deployment of the Republic plan, which guaranteed peace during the period when the right tried to take action against the election event.
“Acts of violence and sabotage were prevented and caused unrest in the population,” he said.
Rodríguez indicated that in the early hours, at polling stations in popular areas and in the interior of the country, The elections were held early in the morning and the voting was continued throughout the day, a situation which did not occur in the regions where wealthy sectors reside, The Commission’s proposals are based on a number of principles.
“We have the strength and determination to do things among Venezuelans. It is unacceptable that external factors interfere in matters that belong to Venezuelans. The people spoke and we all must respect it”, he said.
