Caracas Hosts the Installation of the International Anti-Fascist Committee “For a New World”

On his social networks, Gil highlighted: “Together, we will lay the foundations for the launch of the World Anti-Fascist Front, an initiative originated in Venezuela, committed to the struggle for humanity.”

This Wednesday, the Simón Bolívar Park Convention Center in Caracas became the setting for the installation of the International Anti-Fascist Committee “For a New World!” An event that brought together approximately 400 delegates from 75 countries. The activity was led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Yván Gil, and Rander Peña, representative of internal affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).

The main objective of this committee is to specify and assign tasks arising from the recent World Congress against Fascism, which took place in September. During his speech, Minister Gil emphasized the importance of this initiative, noting that a “new era” in the international fight against fascism is beginning.

The minister also warned about the resurgence of fascism in various nations, attributing it to “bourgeois leaders” who use violent and discriminatory actions against their peoples. In this context, he urged delegates to continue the fight for peace, equality, and justice at the global level.

The installation of the International Anti-Fascist Committee represents not only a joint effort to combat fascism but also seeks to promote a new paradigm based on solidarity and cooperation among nations. With the participation of approximately one thousand delegates, this event marks a significant milestone in the quest for a more just and equitable world.
