China Condemns Cyber Attacks Against Lebanon

Al Mayadeen reported that Tel Aviv used a global company and a civil agency to carry out explosions of electronic devices.
On Thursday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian expressed his country’s concern over the recent explosions of electronic devices in Lebanon, which left at least 37 people dead and nearly 3,000 people injured.

“China calls on all parties concerned to earnestly maintain peace and stability in the Middle East,” the Chinese spokesman said.
His statement came after new simultaneous explosions of electronic devices in the town of Sohmor, where incidents involving vehicles, motorcycles and apartments were reported. This new wave of terrorist attacks occurred far from military installations or party headquarters.
The resistance movement Hezbollah confirmed the detonation of several pagers and held the Zionist state responsible for this terrorist attack.
The Al Mayadeen channel reported that Tel Aviv used a global company and a civil agency to carry out these acts, which according to Lebanon constitutes a deliberate and massive criminal aggression.
Despite widespread international condemnation of the explosion of communications devices, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said that military operations in Lebanon will continue, emphasizing that this new phase of the conflict opens “significant opportunities but also substantial risks.”
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to a security consultation meeting with officials on Thursday night to discuss the escalating situation and Israel’s next steps.
The recent explosions of thousands of pagers and handheld radios across Lebanon on Tuesday and Wednesday resulted in at least 37 fatalities and 2,931 injuries.
