Cuba Denounces the Escalation of the Aggression of Israel Against Lebanon

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez denounced the land invasion of Lebanon by the Israeli army on Tuesday and considered it a “very dangerous escalation” of the conflict in the Middle East.

The Cuban official criticized that these actions by Israel “are carried out with military, logistical and political support from the US, a government that continues to show that it is not interested in peace in the region”.

“We denounce the beginning of Israel’s land invasion against Lebanon, a very dangerous escalation of the conflict in the Middle East,” said the Cuban chancellor in a message on X.

The Cuban government also condemned three days ago the assassination of the leader of the Lebanese Shiite Hizbulah movement, Hassan Nasrala, by the Israeli bombing of a building in south Beirut.

Cuba, an ally throughout the history of Palestine, has denounced from the very beginning the Israeli offensive in Gaza, accusing the actions of the so-called Israel Defense Forces as genocide.
