The Ministry of Energy and Mines has reported another disconnection of the National Electric System (SEN) just minutes ago. Immediate efforts to restore power are underway.

After just over 48 hours since the “zero generation,” during which the National Electroenergy System (SEN) fell, unfortunatelly the system suffered another disconnection of the SEN. It happened after four in the afternoon this Sunday in Cuba.

This latest outage follows a significant blackout that affected millions, triggered by failures at the Antonio Guiteras thermoelectric plant.

This event occurred despite tireless efforts to resolve the situation, after several electrical services in the country had been recovered.
