The Emergency Centre of the Lebanese Ministry of Health has confirmed that 22 individuals have died and 117 others have been injured due to airstrikes by Israeli warplanes in central Beirut.
The attacks specifically targeted the neighborhoods of Ras al-Nabaa, including the ‘Al Aleluya’ building, and Nuweiro. This marks the third assault on densely populated areas within the heart of Lebanon’s capital.
Witnesses reported that Israeli forces conducted strikes not only from the air but also from naval vessels. Additionally, four fatalities were reported from an Israeli attack on a building in the town of Wadi, while two more individuals were killed during shelling in Sahmar.
