El Salvador: Fight Against Drug Trafficking Continues

On Friday, authorities in El Salvador continue to combat drug trafficking in the country and reported the capture of two individuals carrying three kilos of cocaine.

The information provided by the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Gustavo Villatoro, specified that the drugs seized were valued at 75,420 dollars.
Furthermore, official sources stated that the operation was carried out by the Anti-Narcotics Division of the National Civil Police (PNC).
Villatoro wrote on his X account that: ‘There is no country in the western hemisphere that has a clearer line, El Salvador is transitioning in a very different way to the one proposed by the globalists and we are impacting the structures that are dedicated to the drug poison business’.
During the operation, members of the anti-narcotics unit seized a vehicle and a firearm.
In recent weeks, the authorities have increased their actions against drug dealing, one of the main sources of economic sustenance for the gangs.
Official statistics show that during the mandate of President Nayib Bukele, 43.5 tons of drugs valued at 985.5 million dollars were seized and 48 Ecuadorians, 24 Mexicans, 24 people from Colombia, 13 Guatemalans and four Nicaraguans were arrested.
