Expel From Colombia for Aggressive Behavior an Israeli Citizen Who Resided Illegally

An Israeli citizen, who had been residing illegally in Colombia since last year, was expelled from the country for “aggressive and reckless behavior towards the community,” reported on Saturday the Colombian immigration authority.

Despite this declaration, the Police, in addition found the Israeli in a hotel in Medellín, the capital of the department of Antioquia, in the company of a minor, Migración Colombia reported in a statement.
“The decisions taken in this case relate exclusively to violations of the immigration regime, and not to the commission of crimes,” explained Migración Colombia.
After the judicial process was advanced, the alien was placed at the disposal of Migration Colombia, which imposed “an administrative measure of expulsion, after notification the Israeli citizen acquired his air tickets and left the country”.
Between 2023 and 2024, Migración Colombia expelled 1,217 people and also deported 1,205 people, mainly because they entered the country illegally.
