First 17 Passenger Bodies Identified From the Accident in Sao Paulo, Brazil

The official bulletin of this Monday about the plane crash in Sao Paulo, Brazil reported on the identification of the first 17 bodies of the victims of the accident.

Of these 17, it details the bulletin that eight were given to their families, being the first in the progress of the process of recognition of the victims.
For the moment, the nine remaining bodies are awaiting documentation for their subsequent handover to their immediate relatives.
Meanwhile, the Central Unit of the Instituto Médico Legal (IML) in São Paulo continues its identification work to continue contributing to the development of the recognition process.
Among the first group identified, and who were already given to their loved ones, is the pilot Danilo Santos Romano, who had a vast experience of more than 10 years of flights.
The pilot’s funeral was held on Monday at the Basílica da Penha, a territory located east of Sao Paulo.
The accident of the aircraft occurred on August 9 in the town of Vinhedo, while it was covering the route from Cascavel, in Paraná to Guarulhos , in the metropolitan region of São Paulo.
It carried 58 passengers and four crew members, none of whom survived the disaster.
