In its declaration, the office denounced what it described as genocide perpetrated by Tel Aviv in Gaza and demanded that “all countries of the world condemn these systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media professionals in the Gaza Strip.”
It also held the Israeli state accountable, along with the United States for its direct involvement and double standards, as well as all nations that have participated in what they termed genocide.
The statement expressed: “We consider the Israeli occupation, the U.S. administration, and complicit countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and France fully responsible for committing this atrocious and brutal crime.”
Furthermore, it urged “the international community, international organizations, and organizations related to journalistic and media work in all countries of the world” to condemn the crimes of the occupation, deter it, and bring it before international courts for its ongoing abuses.
The declaration concluded by calling for serious and effective pressure to stop genocide and end the killing and slaughter of Palestinian journalists.
Since the conflict began on October 7, it is reported that 44,976 Palestinians have lost their lives and 106,759 have been injured.
