At a recent press conference, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that Egypt and Qatar have succeeded in setting up a final framework for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

During his speech at the Atlantic Council, Blinken stressed that it is now up to Hamas to accept the agreement, “and if the Palestinian group gives its approval, the agreement will be ready to be implemented.”
