Meanwhile, in the «safe zone» of Khan Younis, Israel launches a deadly attack on al-Mawasi

At least 41,020 Palestinians have been killed and 94,925 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza since 7 October, the Gaza Ministry of Health said in a statement on Tuesday.

The latest balance includes 32 dead and 100 wounded in the last 24 hours, according to the ministry. According to the Ministry of Health, it is very likely that thousands more dead are lost in the rubble of the enclave.

At the same time, in a statement, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry stated that the inability of the international community to apply international law to stop the war has allowed Israel «to persist in committing new massacres» in Al Mawasi and other areas of Gaza.

«An immediate ceasefire is the only way to protect Palestinian civilians and create a suitable environment for reaching a prisoner exchange agreement», the ministry added in the statement.

Israeli airstrikes on the al-Mawasi humanitarian «zone» in the Gaza Strip have caused at least 40 deaths and wounded 60 people, according to witnesses and medical officials from the blockaded Palestinian territory.

At least four missiles hit the overcrowded so-called «safe zone» of the coast in the early hours of Tuesday, causing the fire of dozens of shops and leaving craters up to 9 meters deep, as reported by the civil emergency service.

Hundreds of thousands of displaced people are taking refuge in Mawasi, where conditions are dire, after the Israeli army ordered them to move there.

«Whole families disappeared in the massacre of Mawasi Khan Younis, under the sand, in deep holes», declared the spokesman for civil defense of Gaza, Mahmoud Bassal.
