The Palestinian government in the Gaza Strip has issued an urgent call to all parties involved and international mediators to increase pressure on Israel to ensure the rapid implementation of the humanitarian protocol.

This request comes amid an unprecedented humanitarian crisis in the enclave, where thousands of families face desperate conditions following the massive destruction of homes.

In a statement issued by its Media Office, the government of Gaza stressed the urgent need to allow the entry of relief and shelter materials.

In particular, they emphasized the full opening of border crossings to facilitate the arrival of tents and caravans, which are essential for housing more than 250,000 displaced Palestinian families.

The situation in Gaza has become critical, with a growing number of people lacking access to adequate shelter, food, and medical care.

The communiqué calls for swift and effective action to alleviate human suffering and ensure that aid promises are translated into concrete actions.

The call from the government of Gaza underlines the urgency of a coordinated response that not only addresses the immediate needs of those affected but also seeks sustainable solutions to the protracted crisis in the region.

The pressure on Israel to meet its humanitarian commitments is seen as a crucial step toward easing tensions and improving living conditions in the now-devastated Gaza.
