Gaza Strip: Casualties in New Day of Israeli Bombardment

Civil Defense teams recovered the bodies of six Palestinians from under the rubble after targeting a gathering of civilians in the Sudaniya area, northwest of Gaza City.

On Wednesday, medical sources reported that dozens of Palestinians, including children and women, were killed following a series of Israeli air strikes in the Gaza Strip.

According to Wafa news agency, the Zionist regime’s fighter jets launched violent raids on homes and shelters for displaced persons, resulting in dozens of casualties, including dead and wounded.

They added that in the Sheikh Nasser area of Khan Yunis city in the south of the coastal enclave, four civilians, including a child and two women, were killed after an Israeli bombing raid on their house.

Earlier, a helicopter attacked a displaced persons’ tent in Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza, killing three civilians and injuring several children.

Separately, Civil Defense teams recovered the bodies of six Palestinians from under the rubble after targeting a gathering of civilians in the Sudaniya area, northwest of Gaza City.

Similarly, there was violent artillery and aerial bombardment of the Nazla neighborhood in Jabalia, causing material damage to homes and buildings, while rescue operations continue amid an increase in casualties.

In the northern Gaza Strip, the death toll from the shelling of homes near Beit Lahia square rose to 19, medical sources reported.

Health authorities in the Gaza Strip confirmed that the death toll in the coastal enclave rose to 43,61, mostly children and women.

According to the sources, since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023, the number of injured rose to 101,223, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble.
