Citing regional television stations, medical sources in the territory reported three dead and two wounded following a bombing raid on the northern Gaza City neighborhood of al-Zaytoun.

Four others were killed in the early hours of the morning and an unknown number were injured in Israeli aircraft raids on refugee tents in the central coastal enclave town of Deir al-Balah.

In another area for displaced people, in the al-Mawasi area, one Palestinian was killed and more than 10 injured in Israeli attacks, the official Wafa news agency said.

In addition, Israeli artillery fire was reported in the southern Gaza City neighborhood of Al-Sabra, while aircraft opened fire on the northern neighborhood of Sheikh Radwan, it said.

The towns of Abbasan and Rafah were also targeted by the army in the early hours of the morning.

More than 40,800 Palestinians have been killed in the coastal enclave since the beginning of the aggression in October 2023, while more than 94,400 have been wounded and thousands remain buried under rubble.

The military offensive was in retaliation for the Islamic Resistance Movement’s attack on Israel, which killed more than 1,200 people.
