Gaza Strip: New Israeli Bombing Kills At Least 15 Civilians

At least 15 Palestinians killed is the preliminary balance of a drone strike by Israel on Monday against the city of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Red Crescent reported that three people were killed and others wounded when an Israeli drone attacked a group of civilians in the Palestinian town of Beit Lahia.

According to medical sources, about 12 civilians were killed during the Israeli forces’ artillery attack on a group of displaced Palestinians at the Abu al-Jidyan crossing near the northern city of Gaza.

Israel continues its siege in the northern Gaza Strip, destroying and bombing houses, preventing food supplies from entering for the eighteenth consecutive day and forcing citizens to move by force, More than 10,000 citizens of Beit Lahia refuse to move south.

According to the UN, the north of the Palestinian territory has been under Israeli siege for almost 20 days, causing more than 500 deaths and tens of thousands of displaced people.

«We believe that about 56,000 people have been displaced from the northern Gaza Strip to Gaza City since the start of (Israeli) operations», said on Monday a director of the UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA).

The health authorities in the Gaza Strip confirmed that the number of Palestinians killed as a result of the Israeli genocidal operation against the Gaza Strip has risen to 42,603, while the number of injured was estimated at 99,759 people wounded, of which the majority of victims are women and children.
