The military spokesperson of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, Abu Ubaida, has condemned Israel for failing to meet its obligations under the ceasefire agreement.

According to Ubaida, Israel has not only neglected basic rights of the Palestinian people but has also displayed bullying, delay tactics, and arrogance.

Despite these violations, Ubaida reaffirmed Hamas’s commitment to the ceasefire out of respect for the mediators from brotherly countries. He accused Israel of deeply ingrained criminality and sadism in its actions across Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and the region.

Ubaida claimed that Israel seeks to evade the ceasefire agreement with US backing to continue its aggression.

Ubaida criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for prioritizing partisan interests over the lives of Israeli prisoners. He warned that Israeli threats of war would only lead to frustration and would not secure the release of detainees. Furthermore, he alerted families of the hostages about the lack of proof of life for those still alive, emphasizing the resistance’s capability to inflict pain on the enemy in any future confrontation.

The Al-Qassam spokesperson highlighted that enemy threats reflect weakness and humiliation and that resuming combat would further undermine their prestige. Ubaida expressed solidarity with the resistance in Yemen, praising their steadfastness and readiness to support the Palestinian cause.

He also assured that the resistance forces are optimally prepared for all circumstances. Ubaida criticized Western regimes for their blind eyes, lamenting only the enemy’s detained while ignoring the safety of Palestinian prisoners. He concluded by calling on all just and human rights defenders to denounce the crimes committed against captives in Israeli jails.
