In a recent interview with Al Mayadeen, Ahmed Abdul Hadi, the representative of the Hamas movement in Lebanon, confirmed that all points of dispute have been resolved during the negotiations held in Doha.

Hadi highlighted the great flexibility shown by Hamas to reach an agreement that seeks to end the war and ensure the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, as well as the return of displaced people.

“All outstanding points have been resolved, and Hamas has shown a high level of flexibility in its interest for our people and to end their suffering,” said Hadi.

According to the representative, the proposal includes a clear commitment to end the war in its entirety, which is considered a significant step forward in the peace process.

Hadi stressed that after agreeing on all aspects of the agreement, “the ball is now in Netanyahu’s court,” and he has the choice to sign the agreement or, conversely, to obstruct it.

To ensure the withdrawal of Israeli forces, Hamas has requested maps that define the process of disengagement.

However, Hadi warned against the deceptive nature of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who, in the final moments of the negotiations, imposed conditions that Hamas handled with flexibility. “There is no longer any justification or pretext for Netanyahu to obstruct this agreement as he has done before,” he emphasized.

While Hadi expressed optimism about the progress of negotiations, he also acknowledged that the situation remains uncertain given Netanyahu’s track record regarding his commitment to agreements.
