The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, has expressed its strong rejection of Israel’s plan to annex more Palestinian and Arab territories, considering it a clear manifestation of its expansionist ambitions and colonial policies.

In a statement issued this Tuesday, Hamas emphasized that recent statements from Tel Aviv “demand strong responses from Arab and Islamic governments to confront these ambitions and stop their crimes.”
Hamas’s denunciation comes after the publication of a map on official Israeli accounts on social media, which shows the annexation of Palestinian territories along with parts of Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. The movement described these actions as a confirmation of Israel’s attempt to expand its territorial control to dominate the region’s resources and sovereignty.
Hamas urged the Arab League and Arab and Islamic nations to take decisive action against what they termed fascist policies and ethnic cleansing crimes committed in Gaza and the West Bank.
In this context, the statement emphasized that “these aggressive policies and repeated public declarations, which coincide with the ongoing brutal war of genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza and the West Bank, demand decisive actions from the Arab League and Arab and Islamic governments.”
Furthermore, the statement highlighted that “it is imperative to confront these ambitions, stop the ongoing Zionist crimes against our Palestinian people, and provide all kinds of support and solidarity against the fascist plans targeting the entire region.”
In addition to the publication of the map, far-right Israeli Minister Bezalel Smotrich has declared his intention to annex territories ranging from Palestine to countries such as Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. For his part, Palestinian Authority spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina described the map as a flagrant violation of international law.
The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs characterized it as a provocative act lacking any basis.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has presented various maps illustrating the annexation of Gaza and the West Bank on multiple occasions—even before the UN. World leaders and figures from the anti-imperialist and anti-Zionist movements have openly questioned Israeli expansionism.
