These operations mark a continuation of Hezbollah’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza, emphasizing their solidarity with the brave and honorable resistance, as well as defending Lebanon and its citizens.

According to a statement from Hezbollah, “as a group of enemy soldiers attempted to advance toward the town of Aita al-Shaab, resistance fighters launched an artillery attack that forced them to retreat due to the intensity of the fire”.

In a separate announcement, Hezbollah reported that its fighters targeted the Beit Lid military base, located east of Netanya, as well as the town of Kiryat Shmona with missile strikes.

Furthermore, they claimed to have successfully halted the advance of infantry troops from the Israeli army toward Merkava in southern Lebanon through artillery attacks.

Additionally, Hezbollah stated that they had destroyed three Israeli Merkava tanks during their advance near Aita al-Shaab, affirming that their missiles achieved direct hits on these military vehicles.

Reports indicate that air raid sirens were activated in approximately 200 Israeli cities and settlements, including in central Tel Aviv, following these operations by Lebanese resistance forces.

As of October 14, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health reported that the death toll from Israeli attacks in Lebanon has risen to 2,309, with 10,782 individuals injured. This escalation reflects the ongoing violence and humanitarian crisis resulting from the conflict.
