According to official statements by the spokesman of the Ansarallah movement, these actions represent the fifth phase of a strategy for escalation in the regional conflict. The intensification of Yemeni military activities underlines the growing complexity of the geopolitical landscape in the Middle East.

The first operation, called «Operation Yaffa», targeted Israeli military installations in the occupied area of Yaffa (Tel Aviv). Two missiles were used: a «Palestine 2», described as a hypersonic ballistic missile, and a «Zulfikar». The spokesman stated that the operation «achieved its objectives successfully». The Israeli army confirmed the firing of an earth-to-earth missile from Yemen, which triggered sirens in Tel Aviv.

In a second action, the Yemeni Air Force launched several drones of the models «Yaffa» and «Samad 4» against targets in the occupied areas of Yaffa (Tel Aviv) and Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat). According to the statement, «some of these drones managed to achieve their goals».

The Ansarallah movement reiterated its commitment to continue military operations against Israel and maintain a naval blockade of the Israeli entity. These actions, they stated, will continue «until the aggression on Gaza and Lebanon ceases».

In response to these operations, the US, UK and Israel have intensified their attacks on Yemen. Nearly 900 air strikes are reported in an attempt to stop the country’s pro-Palestinian military operations.

On 4 October, US and British warplanes launched more than a dozen raids in four provinces of Yemen, reaching multiple locations including the capital’s airport, Sanaa, and the main port city, Hodeidah.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said on the same day that it had attacked “15 Houthi targets in areas of Yemen controlled by Houthis backed by Iran”. These attacks are part of Washington’s efforts to deter Yemeni operations in support of Palestine and Lebanon, but have so far been unsuccessful.
