Houthis Informs abouth the Shooting Down of a U.S MQ9 Plane

This is the eleventh such aircraft shot down in the confrontation to aggression against Yemen.
Representatives of the Yemeni Armed Forces reported on Monday about the shooting down of a MQ9 aircraft, of American origin.

The spokesman of the Armed Forces of Yemen, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced that “Yemeni air defenses were able to shoot down a US MQ9 aircraft”.
It was also specified that this is the eleventh such aircraft shot down in the confrontation to aggression against Yemen, while “carrying out hostile missions in the airspace of the Saada governorate”.
Saree stated that «this is the eleventh aircraft of this type that our air defenses managed to shoot down during this battle».
He also added that ‘earlier, the Israeli enemy, with US support, launched 17 attacks against several civilian installations in Hodeidah governorate, including the port and power station, resulting in the death of five citizens and wounding 57 as a final result”.
In this regard, the spokesman stated that «this criminal aggression will not deter the Yemeni people, nor through its armed forces, from fulfilling their religious, humanitarian and moral duty towards the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples».
«The crime of aggression against Hodeidah will be answered with an escalation of military operations against this criminal enemy during the next period», stressed Yahya Saree.
Earlier, Israeli warplanes launched an attack on the coast of Hodeidah in the Red Sea west of Yemen at oil deposits in the port of Ras Issa and launched several raids against the Al-Hali power plant also in Hodeidah. The invasions were aimed at the international airport of that city.
