In an escalation of violence in the Gaza Strip, at least 14 Palestinians have lost their lives, including five children, due to Israeli air strikes recorded on Tuesday afternoon.
The enclave’s medical and civil defense sources confirmed the figure to EFE amid a conflict that has lasted for 15 months. The attacks focused on two key areas: in the south, in the city of Khan Younis, an Israeli drone bombed a tent housing displaced persons, resulting in the deaths of five children and one woman.
Meanwhile, in Jabalia al-Balad, north of the enclave, eight people were killed and several others injured following an air strike that destroyed the home of the Rayhan family.
Since the beginning of the war, the authorities in Gaza have reported a tragic death toll of 45,885 and more than 109,000 wounded.
In addition, it is estimated that around 11,000 people remain missing, possibly under the rubble.
