In statements to the press, the Minister of Interior and Justice of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, explained that there has been a lot of disorganization regarding the arrival of the flight from the United States.
“None is linked to the Aragua train (…) I must emphasize that this trip was scheduled for 9:00 in the morning, the United States was solving its internal problems and it is until this time that the plane arrives after 2:00 in the afternoon, They had announced that there were 229 people and only 175 are coming”, said Cabello.
In this regard, Diosdado Cabello criticized the disorganization of the US government in the process of repatriation of Venezuelan migrants, pointing out changes to the departure site that hinder logistics.
Despite this, he reaffirmed the commitment of the Venezuelan government, instructed by Nicolás Maduro, to bring back migrants, regardless of additional threats or situations with the US, emphasizing that this problem is part of the confusion of the US government.
In addition, Cabello announced the regularization of the mechanisms for receiving flights with Venezuelan migrants through the Plan Vuelta a la Patria from March 30.
The process will be simplified, with nationals going directly to migration and then to care, eliminating previous operational procedures and optimizing logistics at the Simón Bolívar de Maiquetía International Airport.
