Meteorologists warn of the danger that the hurricane continues to pose, especially when it reaches dry land and crosses the peninsula.

Hurricane Milton, on Wednesday, dropped from category 4 to 3, with maximum winds of 120 miles per hour (195 km), following its path from the west coast of Florida, where the first tornadoes are reported.
However, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC), Hurricane Milton has increased in size and wind intensity, with tropical storm strength extending more than 255 miles (400 km) across. Expected to arrive tonight.
