The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro condemned this Wednesday condemnation media campaign against the country and denounced the existence of a laboratory of fake news from the United States, following pressure from some hegemonic media for the election results of July 28.

“I come here to defend the truth of our country. I am not afraid of your lies, I come to face them with the truth”, said the president while stressing that the West does not accept this reality.

“How much more evidence do we have to present. Why should a country be involved in a war,” he said. “Why this campaign against Venezuela? I’m not afraid of lies, I’m here to confront them with the truth. I have not been and will not be a CIA agent, I will never work in an international agency that works against my country”, he insisted.
