“We discussed what our strategic relations should look like in the future. Venezuela has the largest oil reserves. Despite the criminal blockade, our nation is reclaiming its productive path to assume the strategic role it should play in the international energy market,” she pointed out.
“India is an economic powerhouse and the world’s third-largest economy. In one or two decades, India will consolidate as the world’s largest energy consumer,” stated Rodriguez, who also met with representatives of the private multinational company Reliance Industries Limited.
“The world’s largest refinery belongs to this company. During Commander Hugo Chavez’s administration, this company came to Venezuela to establish strategic projects. Now we are reaffirming that path and exploring new projects for the strategic future between India and Venezuela,” she expressed.
The Bolivarian vice president also held a meeting with Indian Oil Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and representatives of gas companies to discuss how to develop existing projects in Venezuela.
“Plans were made to initiate some new projects. With the Venezuelan strategic vision, we are considering what India will become in a few decades and the role Venezuela will play in the expansion of that country’s great economic potential,” she emphasized.
“We advance with a geopolitical diplomacy of peace in a turbulent world facing great challenges. We do so always with the message of love from President Nicolas Maduro for this country and its people. With this message, we will continue to build relations based on respect, brotherhood, and friendship. We will consolidate economic cooperation for the happiness of our peoples,” Rodriguez stated.
