To accompany these celebrations, over 700 special guests from Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean have started arriving in Managua since the beginning of the week.

“They are arriving to sing with us to the FSLN, the love of our loves, which spearheaded the struggles and triumphs of the Nicaraguan people,” said Vice President Rosario Murillo, who expressed gratitude for the solidarity her country receives from those people “creating a new world.”

Ahead of the main commemorative events that will take place on Friday, several leaders of sovereign countries have sent messages to President Daniel Ortega. Some of them are summarized below.

The text reads, “On Wednesday, the Burkinabe government, meeting in Ouagadougou under the presidency of the Head of State Captain Ibrahim Traore, discussed the participation of Burkina Faso in the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution in Managua on July 19.

Our country’s participation in this celebration will contribute to strengthening friendship and cooperation relations between Burkina Faso and Nicaragua, said government spokesman Jean Emmanuel Ouedraogo.

The Sandinista revolution, a popular liberation struggle that took place in 1979, allowed Nicaragua to carry out important economic and social reforms, despite the U.S. embargo and the CIA-led media war.

In France, the newspaper Le Figaro has been accused of having spread manipulated images to harm the cause of the revolutionaries.”

BELARUS: On behalf of the Belarusian people, President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated President Ortega on the 45th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Sandinista Revolution.

“Thanks to the courageous and selfless work of the Sandinista National Liberation Front, the people of Nicaragua have managed to maintain their independence and sovereignty,” he said, adding that his administration values the development of relations with Nicaragua.

“I am pleased to note the dynamic expansion of political, commercial, and economic cooperation. I hope that the gradual approach between Minsk and Managua will soon yield tangible results that translate into the well-being of our citizens,” Lukashenko added.

CHINA: The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China sent a congratulatory message to the Nicaraguan government and people.

In addition to highlighting the importance of diplomatic and cooperative ties between the two nations, the Chinese Communist Party emphasized the leadership of President Ortega and Vice President Murillo, who have guided the Nicaraguan people in defending their sovereignty and national dignity.

“For a long time, under the leadership of President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo, the Nicaraguan people, firm in safeguarding their national sovereignty and dignity, have persisted in following a development path suited to their own national conditions and have continually achieved new successes in socioeconomic development,” the message points out.

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China reaffirmed its support and friendship towards Nicaragua, highlighting mutual collaboration in various areas of common interest.

KOREA: Kim Jong Un, the President of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent a cordial message to the Nicaraguan government and people.

“On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Triumph of the Sandinista Revolution, I extend warm congratulations to you, the government, and the people,” he said.

“I express confidence that the friendly and cooperative relations between our two countries, established in the anti-imperialist struggle, will continue to strengthen and develop, and I wish you success in your responsibilities for defending the country’s sovereignty and increasing the well-being of the people,” the North Korean leader added.
