On Wednesday, Israel attacked Beit Lahia, killing eight people in the Al Sultan neighbourhood.
On Tuesday, Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei condemned Israel’s “brutal” strike on a residential building in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza. The strike reportedly killed at least 93 Palestinians, including 20 children, and wounded dozens of others.

Baghaei criticized Israel’s continued “genocide and killing of defenseless Palestinian people, as well as targeting residential areas and vital infrastructure in the Gaza Strip,” calling for decisive international actions to stop the “crimes” and bring the Israeli leaders to justice.
He also denounced the United States and some other Western countries for providing military and political support to Israel.
The Israeli army destroyed a five-floor residential building in Beit Lahia, forcing residents to manually pull out casualties from the debris due to the lack of medical and civil defense teams.
The Gaza Health Ministry confirmed that Israeli occupation forces have killed over 43,160 people in the Gaza Strip since the start of their offensive in October 2023. More than 101,500 people have also been injured, while health authorities estimate that the bodies of some 10,000 missing people remain buried under the rubble of buildings bombed by Israel.
Over the past 25 days, Israel has maintained a tough siege in the north of the enclave where it has already killed at least 1,250 Gazans. In the past 24 hours, Zionist soldiers have killed at least 102 Palestinians. Most of the dead perished in the north, during the bombardment of Beit Lahia in the early hours of Tuesday.
On Wednesday, Israel again attacked the town, killing at least eight people in the Al Sultan neighbourhood. Humanitarian organisations say that Palestinians have nowhere safe to flee to. Currently, the lack of humanitarian aid puts thousands of people in northern Gaza at risk of death.
