Iran: President Pezeshkian Calls the Missiles Attacks Against Israel as a “Decisive Response”

The Iranian president emphasized that the military action was carried out as a legitimate response.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian called the recent ballistic missile attack on military targets in Israel a «decisive response» to what he calls «terrorist acts of the Zionist regime».

In a statement on his official account, the Iranian leader stated: Based on legitimate rights and with the aim of achieving peace and security for Iran and the region, a decisive response was given to the aggression of the Zionist regime. This action was in defense of the interests and citizens of Iran.»
Pezeshkian sent a direct message to the Israeli prime minister: ‘Let Netanyahu know that Iran is not belligerent, but stands firm in the face of any threat. This is just a corner of our power. Do not conflict with Iran.»
The Iranian president emphasized that the military action was carried out as a legitimate response, suggesting that Iran acted within its rights to protect its national and regional interests.
According to reports from various Iranian news agencies, the recent missile attack on Israel has caused considerable damage to Israeli military and energy infrastructure.
The Tasnim agency reported that Iranian missiles hit gas platforms near the city of Ashkelon and destroyed the Nevatim air base in the Negev desert. For its part, the Shafaqna agency said that at least 20 Israeli F-35 fighter aircraft were destroyed during the attack.
The agency citing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported that “three Israeli military bases on the outskirts of Tel Aviv were targeted”.
The IRGC announced the successful execution of Operation True Promise 2, directed against strategic locations within occupied Palestine, despite the existing advanced air defense systems.
Thousands of residents in the capitals of the Axis of Resistance have taken to the streets in gratitude towards Iran during the recent wave of missile attacks directed against Tel Aviv and other places in the occupied territories.
