The G7 must use its influence to stop Israeli aggression against Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine, Diplomat Baghaei said.

On Thursday, Iran summoned the ambassadors of Germany and Austria to protest the summoning of Iranian diplomats in Berlin and Vienna following the attack on Israel.

“After the unacceptable action by Germany and Austria in summoning the heads of Iranian missions to protest the legitimate, responsible, and effective response of our country in punishing the aggressive Zionist regime, the ambassadors of Germany and Austria were summoned separately by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” reported the Tasnim news agency.

Shortly before, the Iranian Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei rejected the G7 leaders’ condemnation of the missile attack on Israel, which he described as “biased and irresponsible,” and called on the group to focus on stopping the conflict in Gaza and Lebanon.

“This group must use its influence to immediately stop the genocide of Palestinians and halt the aggression of the Zionist regime against Lebanon, Syria, and other countries,” Baghaei stated.

On Tuesday night, Iran bombarded Israel with 200 missiles in revenge for the assassinations of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran in July, Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah, and an Iranian general in Beirut last Friday. After the attack, Israel has stated that it will retaliate, to which Iran has responded that it will strike back with even greater force.

As of Thursday morning, Iran resumed flights to and from the country, following their suspension after Iranian missile attacks on Israel.

Jafar Yazarlou, the spokesperson for the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization (CAO), announced that flight restrictions were lifted after ensuring that conditions were favorable and secure for flights. He added that airlines were permitted to resume flights starting at 5:00 a.m. local time.
