Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, have reached an agreement for the release of hostages, set to take place next Saturday, February 15. This announcement comes amid the ongoing ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and marks a significant step toward de-escalating tensions in the region.
Hamas’s Office for Palestinian Prisoner Affairs has reported that Israel will release 369 Palestinians, while the Islamist group has committed to handing over three Israeli hostages.
