Israel Begged for a Cease-fire: Hezbollah Says

The representative of the Resistance Loyalist Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, Ibrahim al-Moussawi, stated that the ceasefire agreements with Israel were implemented indirectly, and the parties committed to implement UN Resolution 1701.

“While the occupation had promised to crush the Resistance, it was finally forced to beg for a ceasefire,” said Ibrahim al-Moussawi.
Al-Moussawi also emphasized the failure of the Israeli aggression, as the Resistance stood firm in its defensive position.
“The Resistance firmly maintained its position, assuring that any return of settlers to northern Israel would only occur through indirect negotiations and after the ceasefire came into effect,” he said.
He also sent his congratulations to the people of Lebanon and, in particular, to the displaced who have the possibility of returning home.
He also stated that the appropriate date and time for the funeral of the martyred Hezbollah secretary general, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, would be announced shortly.
